In association with the Dandenong Ranges Music Council, the Music Council of Australia's Resound programme has launched a Bushfire Appeal to help get musicians playing again.
Resound is delivering donated musical instruments to replace those instruments lost in the February 2009 Victorian bushfires. All affected musicians, from school students through to professionals, can apply for an instrument. To date, $32000 worth of instruments have been delivered with more needed, in particular, guitars, amps, drum kits and keyboards.
